Dear Ms. Cang,

You probably don't remember me, but I was a student in your Math 10 class back in 2010. It's been 20 years since I sat in your classroom but it's been only recently that I have reflected back on it. In doing so, I have come to the conclusion that it was the class that changed my life. I was once a terrible student because I believed I was and because everyone told me so, I never questioned it. But sometime in Grade 10, I remember being told that I am and would be who I chose to be. And I grew to look forward to math classes for the challenge in it and also for your cheerful and encouraging words.
